USSMC was the event planner for the Enhancement Foundation's Diamonds and Pearls Event (The Richmond Short Pump Marriott Hotel) and Christmas of Season of Celebration - A Lupus Fundraising event (The Hilton Richmond Downtown). USSMC was recently awarded a contract by the Virginia Lottery Organization for Event Planning for their Sales Meeting.
USSMC was recently awarded a University of Mary Washington Master Agreement Contract for VASCUUP Event Planning and Senior Consulting for a base year and several option years.

NAVY CONTRACT: Navy has awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple-award contracts to 914 contractors that will provide for their competition for service requirements solicited by Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Command, Strategic Systems Programs, Office of Naval Research and the U.S. Marine Corps. USSMC was awarded a VDOT BOWD Center Contract.
USSMC was recently awarded the Business Planning Contract with the Business Opportunity and Workforce Development (BOWD) Center. This Center is an exciting initiative offered by the Virginia Department of Transportation to provide supportive services and training to a select group of Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firms.
USSMC was awarded two contracts with the Department of Commerce's NOAA NESDIS ESPC Management Services Center /Computer Operations Branch and Program Management Contract.
Performance Evaluation and Organization Restructure: Recommended strategies, provided continuity of operations and disaster recovery operations documentation and executed enterprise wide architectural solutions for NESDIS two programs in the areas of Information Technology and Information Assurance, Physical Security, EVM, Risk Mitigation, Structuring Customer Service and Help Desk Support Processes and Training, Systems Integration, Operating System, Training, Disaster Recovery, Database Administration, Knowledge Management, System Administration, Network, Software Engineering, System Engineering, Physical Layout Design and etc, for the effective and valued added operation of the GOES and POES Satellite and Data Communications ingest data protocols, the National Weather Service and other program and stakeholders requirements. This requirement was accountable to Program Management Officials and ultimately the Division Chief for MSC and CIO which resulted in higher and improved levels of program quality operations, closer manufacturer reviews and requirements, higher staff performance, risk mitigation, improved procurement strategies, reduced and more justified budget spending and financial management and more effective asset/property management protocols, and continued justification and organizational results which ultimately led to a FY 2010 4.9 billion dollar budget approval by Congress for NOAA NESDIS Environmental Satellite Processing Center and the Program Management Division.
USSMC was awarded two Homeland Security Contracts
Events Management and Cost Reductions: Organized overall plan execution, promotions, registration and negotiation for two conference events for the Department of Homeland Security and all of its department components successfully for a total of over 1,000 US small business and federal acquisition participants at the Ronald Regan International Trade Center Building and the Fort Belvoir Officer's Club. Conferences were designed to improve Small Business Participation w/DHS and improve acquisition operations. Delivered both events under budget while meeting rigorous timelines.
USSMC was awarded SBA’s National 7(j)8(a)Training and Logistical Support and E Learning Solutions Contract.
Trained thousands of federal employees, leaders and managers on a national level for several Federal Government Agencies. Rolled out and conducted 7(j)/8(a) Business Development Training for the US Small Business Administration to over 10,000 small disadvantaged, SBA certified 8(a)/8(m) women and Veteran, Veteran Owned Service Disabled Small Businesses nationally. Initial work and advocacy led to thousands of small businesses receiving millions of dollars in federal contracts, being mentored by large corporations and graduating from their respective subpart 19 minority set aside programs successfully. This resulted in a decrease for SBA case management. Successful performance resulted in additional modification of contracts for extended time and
additional customer delivery.
USSMC was responsible for creating and implementing e-Learning solutions for the SBA’s Executive Leadership Training program Our management and IT/Web team developed e-learning platforms for the National Basic and Advanced Training program. Our e-learning environments allowed both the SBA and USSMC as the content owners to provide a rich, interactive and user-friendly online learning experience for small business students that was seamlessly integrated with a management system that handled enrollment, course management and reporting. USSMC has remained on the cutting edge of these technology advances and has the unique ability to guide our customers around all the pitfalls in setting up a revenue generating e-learning environment.
USSMC was awarded subcontract for Department of Health and Human Services Contract
Events Planning/Logistical Planning leads to Cost Reduction. Successfully for three years, increased team collaboration nationally across 50 states including: Hawaii, Puerto Rico, St Thomas Virgin Islands, and the US Territories: Guam, America Somalia, and Northern Marianas by launching and guiding SAMHSA PATH National/Regional Grantee Meetings and the development of its very first webinar/web streaming event within the DHHS SAMHSA that created increased visibility, more participation and resulted in a 25% savings reduction in budget planning for these meetings and increasing program grant funding allocations for each state. The Director gave USSMC an outstanding accommodation letter.
USSMC was awarded Department of Treasury, Bureau of Engraving and Printing Contract
USSMC was awarded a Business Process Reengineering, Training, Statistical Analysis and Research, Management Information Systems contract for the EEO and Employee Assistance Program. USSMC professionals worked side by side with Chief and key office officials. This process improved the outcome of the entire operations, staff were promoted, re-evaluated, created new formalized database, processes and procedures for the EEO complaint process and saved the agency an enormous amount of money. USSMC received accommodations for its efforts.
USSMC was awarded and serves as Event Manager and Management Consulting firm for Secretary of State and the Johannesburg South African Government Justice System. USSMC receives contract from USAID to host, plan agenda and provide technical assistance for an event for Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to address Johannesburg South African Human Rights and Justice Government System Reform possible reorganizational efforts. Coordinated with the South African Embassy in Washington, DC for the safe arrival of several official diplomats from the South African government for scheduled meetings in the US with the Secretary. Executed extensive research and analysis of the South African justice system six months a head of schedule meetings and concluded with a new policy being instituted in South Africa’s Justice System. Received a letter of honor and accommodation from both the Secretary of State and the Johannesburg South African Government Justice System for Outstanding Service.
USSMC Congressional Accomplishments.
USSMC received Congressional Honor Award from Congressman Steny Hoyer for outstanding service to the State of Maryland and in Prince Georges County.
USSMC’s CEO Participated in Public Forums for the White House Small Business Sub Committee and was instrumental as an advocate for the passing of the US Small Business Women Set-Aside Programs back in February 2011. In 2012, USSMC CEO participated in small business forum with President Barack Obama's Chief of Staff and the White House's Minority Business Round Table (MBRT).
USSMC was awarded subcontract for US Army MMC Technology Requirement.
The purpose of this requirement was to establish and maintain a stable and controlled development and test environment for the operation of the MMC Development Laboratory (MDL).
USSMC was awarded subcontract for the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
Information Technology Requirement: USSMC’s Information Technology team conducted configuration management, information security management and emergency preparedness functions. Information security functions consisted of collecting and tracking all sensitive information on criminal and terrorist activities by utilizing sophisticated electronic networks.
